For breakfast I had a nice big bowl of Bob’s Red Mill 10 Grain Hot Cereal. It’s a combination of “stone ground high protein hard red wheat, rye, triticale, oat bran, oats, corn, barley, soy beans, brown rice, millet, and flaxseed.”

I had this on Tuesday as well, but, alas, the missing camera cord prevented me from reporting my findings.
Today’s bowl was rich and decadent:

- 1/4 cup 10 grain hot cereal (it triples in size, at least!)
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup light coconut milk, mixed in 2/3 way through cooking
- 1/2 banana
- 2 strawberries, microwaved to a syrup
- brown sugar
- 1 tsp peanut butter
- cinnamon

It was missing something, so I went back to the pantry for some walnuts and hazelnuts.

I really like this breakfast, mostly because it reminds me of Cream of Wheat, which my babysitter used to make for me when I was little. The texture is much, much finer than oatmeal, but it’s also what I imagine pooridge from Oliver Twist’s days to taste like.
Hopefully it’ll keep me full until lunch, but if not, I have a nice big grapefruit to satiate me. Have a wonderful Friday!

Mmm, pooridge
Good luck with that paper!!
