I love the dress that you wore to dinner. Ever consider doing a fashion post for us?

I braved the crowds on Black Friday, but I live in Vermont where there never are really that many people out to begin with. It’s a bit crowded but I’ve never been witness to those violent or crazed shopaholics that you hear about. Hopefully they really are just the stuff of legends!

I’ve never shopped on black friday either!! I mean, I’ve shopped the friday after Thanksgiving….but maybe wayy later in the day, at a NORMAL hour! haha, the deals are great but aren’t worth waking up at 3 am for me!

Those sticky buns look amazing!! And you and your mom are so cute!

I know everyone else has said it, but pecans–can you go wrong? Anyway, I decided that Thanksgiving meals, especially way out here in the Middle get very bland, so in lieu 0f tofu as a culinary eye-opener, I cribbed a recipe for curried mashed sweet potatoes that turned out delicious and turned some heads:
