A V-Day Giveaway

How do you feel about V-day? Love it? Loathe it?

I never had particularly strong feelings about it… last year it was a good excuse (but who needs an excuse?) to eat a huge slice of carrot cake. And then put it in my breakfast the next morning.

If you happen to be looking for a last-minute gift idea, try a heart-shaped peanut butter cup! (There’s no shame in making this for yourself, either.)

I found this fun graphic about flower etiquette… I’m not too much of a “rules girl” myself (don’t think this comes as much of a surprise) but apparently you’ve got to be careful when doling out the yellow blooms!

Anyway, Valentine’s Day isn’t for everyone. But what is for (almost) everyone is this Chobani giveaway! After searching far and wide for Chobani’s latest flavors- Blood Orange, Passion Fruit & Apple Cinnamon- I was delighted to find a box of ‘em waiting for me on my doorstep last week.

They’re all fabulous, and we have since restocked the fridge with even more! I’m not the only one who eats these, I promise…

Overnight Oats have been back with a vengeance, and have been one of the only breakfasts lately that keep Agnes the Tapeworm at bay.

PASSION-NUT OATS

Overnight:

  • 1/4 c. rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 t chia seeds
  • 1 container Chobani Passion Fruit low-fat Greek yogurt

stirstirstir, refrigerate

Morning:

  • 1 scoop tangerine lemon curd
  • almond butter drizzle
  • sprinkle of granola

Close your eyes and imagine yourself on a tropical island. Wear your bathing suit if it helps get ya in the mood.
